Thanks to the Mixology (technique known as Molecolar and Physical Gastronomy), a real innovation in bartending. The result of a masterful blend of the American system bar, Mixology offers endless combinations of herbal extracts, fruits, jellies or spices, skillfully matched with wines, liquors, spirits, syrups or fruit juices. The novelty of this method is based on the union of different substances in nature and texture in a wonderful balance of flavors and eye-catching visual harmony. Mixology is not not only a pure combination of various elements, but is also based on important  choices that a good professional should take: the careful selection of fruit and vegetables, a special attention to glasses and the right amount of ice. 

When and how was the Mixology born?

This trend was born around the 80s thanks to the studies of Nicholas Kurti and Hervé This, an Hungarian physicist and a French chemist. In the 90s it spread around the English-speaking area and then expanded to become one of the most popular techniques in the best lounge bars. Often known as “mixed drink”, Mixology blends beer with spices, spirits and fresh fruit, into brand-new renditions of traditional recipes; it can also be considered an added value to Flair, the tendency to serve spectacularly drink.
